Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account data: email address and authentication credentials, handled via Supabase Auth.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, features used, opportunities saved/watched, and similar in-product activity.
  • Billing data (PRO tier, once live): handled by our payment processor (Stripe) — PrintRank does not store full payment card numbers.
  • Error/diagnostic data: automatically captured via Sentry to help us fix bugs — this may include stack traces and request context, not intentionally collected personal content.

We do not collect data about the physical 3D-printed products you make or sell.

2. How we use it

We use collected data to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service (authenticate you, remember your preferences, deliver the opportunity feed).
  • Process subscription billing, once PRO billing is live.
  • Diagnose and fix bugs.
  • Communicate with you about your account, invites, or material changes to the Service.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Third-party services we use

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • Sentry — error monitoring.
  • Stripe — payment processing, once PRO billing is live.

Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy policy. We choose providers that maintain industry-standard security practices.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

PrintRank uses only cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the Service:

  • Authentication cookies set by Supabase Auth to keep you signed in.
  • A short-lived invite cookie that remembers a pending invite while you finish creating your account.

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or third-party analytics that profile you, and we do not run session-recording or “replay” tools. Because we rely only on essential cookies, the Service functions without a tracking-consent banner in most jurisdictions. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies or analytics, we will ask for your consent where the law requires it.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting [CONTACT EMAIL]. We may retain limited data as required for legal, billing, or security purposes after deletion.

6. Your rights

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, access controls, and Supabase’s row-level security) to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children’s privacy

PrintRank is not directed at, and does not knowingly collect data from, anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email before taking effect.
